Yes it's true! We're a family of 6. I'm really eating my words with this one aren't I? Jason and the kids just wouldn't let up on me and in a moment of weakness I gave in. Jason has been begging me and begging me for about a year now. I'm still not sure if I'm ready for this or not. I really don't need someone else to feed and clean up after. I guess it's a little late for second thoughts though. Britannia wanted to name her Sparkles and Mishayla wanted to name her flower. Together they decided on Flower Sparkles. The kids are so excited. They really love her so much already. They fight over who is going to feed her and who is going to hold her. This amazing because they were deathly afraid of anything that moved before this. This is the main reason Jason wanted to get one. It worked and sorry for me the kids are in love with her so it looks like she's sticking around. After two days I'm really having second thoughts. She is potty training herself really well already. When she's full grown she should weigh about 4 lbs. Well here she is.. our 8 week old Chihuahua Flower Sparkles!

Lucky you! I love the name and she actually looks like a pretty cute dog. I often think it would be so good for my kids to have a pet so they won't be a fraidy-cat like me, but then I remember that I'd have to take care of it and I'm not as good of a sport as you. Keep me posted on how it goes!
Ha Ha ha Ha ha ! That is great! Your Kids will love it! I still insist my kids stick with cats (less maintenence)and they would just flip over if we let them get a puppy! You are a better woman than me :)
My kids have been begging us for a chihuaha! I totally thought you were announcing a pregnancy and I was like there is no way. I saw her trying on coats the other day and there is no way she is 4 or 5 months along. LOL

I am so glad I decided to read your entire post, because at first I was getting ready to congratulate you on Sunday on a new pregnancy!! Tricky tricky. Cuuuute, doggie. Is Jason okay with that name?
