Father's Day

We each made Jason a card and presented it to him before church. The kids also made Jason a homemade tie at a primary activity. The men all had to wear them to church if they wanted their Father's Day Pie. It was a really cute idea and the kids were excited that daddy wore the tie they made him.

Oh, What Do You Do In The Summertime!

Go swimming!
A friend showed us this great little swimming hole that you can swim at for free. It had a fountain in the middle that I forgot to get a picture of.
David played with his cars the whole time.
Mishayla played with other people's toys the whole time. I hope they didn't mind, I know what I need to bring with us next time around.
Finger paint with shaving cream, it is a great way to clean tables as well. Be careful on real wood I don't know what the results might be.
This kept the kids busy for hours and they keep asking to do it again.
Watch lots of movies!
Fall asleep watching movies!
Play beauty shop with mom! I don't know where Mishayla got the idea to leave the comb in my hair as an accessory, but I'm pretty sure she did not learn this in Utah!;)
Eat lots of yummy ice cream. David kept shaking his head and saying, "num, num!"
Make some pinkalicious cupcakes! This is such a fun book, the little girl turns pink from eating too many pink cupcakes. The girls were sure they would also turn pink. I guess they didn't eat enough pinkalicious cupcakes!
Here are a couple of things we've been doing to stay busy. Please feel free to share any ideas you may have.

Thank You Grandma & Grandpa

Thank you for all of the yummy meals!
Please forgive us...
for being a little out of control when you took us shopping.
We love our new shoes!
Thank you for hanging out with us...
and being nice too us even when we acted very spoiled.
Thanks for bringing us to the Indians game.
We really enjoyed it...
Especially David!
Thanks for all the cool Indians stuff you bought us!
Thank you for walking with us to the park,
watching us play,
and for playing with us!
Sorry if we wore you out, we sure had a good time!

We love to have visitors and really appreciate when grandparents come out and spoil us. We are so blessed to have them they do so much for us. We cherish every moment that we are able to spend with you. The kids talk about your visits for weeks before and after you come. Thanks again, we love you so much!

David's Updates

Where is this kids mom? No pants, one sock, and the saggiest diaper ever! Sad what the third one looks like a good percent of the time.

David thinks he is the coolest kid on the playground and isn't afraid to try anything.
David always grabs his tummy like this then rubs his hands back and forth like he brushing dirt off. He is so silly!

David keeping up with the girls and playing whatever they're playing.
Note he is pushing matchbox cars in that pink buggy, so it's a little bit manly!
This is my new technique for putting David down for naps. He gets so bored when I go shopping that he just falls asleep. He was sound asleep, but still wouldn't let go of his Micky Mouse Clubhouse fruit snacks. He is so cute!

Mishayla's Updates

Taking time to smell the roses!
Mishayla came upto me and asked if she could go outside and catch a birdie. She was so serious about it. She picked out this special outfit to catch the birdies in. It was so funny, she grabbed a little bag to put them in and was set to go. You can imagine her disappointment when she never got close enough to catch one.

Mishayla loves to cross these things at the park. She spends most of her time here or on the swings.

Shayla loves "flowers" she picks them everywhere she goes.

Mishayla loved the dentist so much, when the visit was over she said, "can we come back here next week?" Too bad she didn't have any cavities to be filled.

This is very typical of Shayla, wearing jammies with a load fun of toys next to her.

I love the sideways sunglasses, she is so silly!

Poor Shayla fell right in the mud! She didn't even know what it was, she said, "I have some sticky stuff on my pants."

Britannia's Updates

Britannia is loving softball she gets really into to it, I love watching her! Jason has been helping coach the team and it's fun to see them get to spend so much time together.

Britannia received medals for getting to 300 & 400 steps in the schools 100 book challenge program. She worked so hard at reading and really got excited about it at the end. She wanted to get to 600 books by the end of the year, maybe next year. I'm so proud of her!
Last day of school! Britannia loved Kindergarten, she had the best, kindest teacher in the world. We lucked out big time with her. Britannia really loved her and her cute little class. She had to wear something "special" for the last day of school. She did her own hair and was very proud of it. The hair had to be in front of the headband.

She loves the dentist, No Cavities!

She's been playing hard and enjoying the warm weather at the new park!
I think we wore the poor girl out!
