Valentine's A Little Late

I kept forgetting to load these pictures on and post them but, better late than never. We had a great day. We started Valentines off on Friday when David, Shayla, and myself got to go into Britannia's class for a party. I forgot to take my camera but it was a good time. Britannia had so much fun showing her classroom off to her little brother and sister. Friday night we went to another party at the church. The kids had so much fun dancing, eating, and playing with balloons. Saturday the kids woke up to pink, heart shaped pancakes. we also have a tradition of getting a new book for Valentine's which the kids really love and look forward too. They were also thrilled to receive packages from both Grandma's that were filled with fun things. We ended the night with a stay at home date. We had a candle lite dinner of all our favorite things like steak, crab legs, stuffed mushrooms, chocolate covered strawberries. It was a perfect end to a wonderful day! I love those four so much, I love that I got to be with them all day long.

Goin' To The Lodge

We took the kids on a little trip to the Great Wolf Lodge with some of our Podietry friends. The guys have schedule this month that only requires them to go in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So we stayed Monday and Tuesday nights and the guys carpooled pack to school on Tuesday for class and joined us for dinner that night. For those of you who are not familiar with Great Wolf it's an indoor water park in a hotel. We spent most of the time in the water of course but at nights they had a fun little show and and bedtime stories. They also had a craft room and play room for the kids to hang out in during the day in between swimming. After this month Jason starts a year of externships so we were glad that we could find time to do our family vacation for the year.
