Kash's First Haircut

I can't get over how different my baby looks. I almost feel like my baby is gone and has been replaced by another baby. That is until he gives me that little Kashy smile or his big Kashy SCREEAM! It makes me sad, but I have to admit he is still a handsome little man.

Look Who Turned Four

My sweet boy is 4! We celebrated his birthday on the last day of preschool with all of his pre-school friends, minus one who had to go to Texas to look for a new house. David and I are both really going to miss all these cute kids next year when we do pre-school without them. He chose a Hungry Hungry Hippo themed party. It turned out pretty cute considering it was a hard one to find things for. David is such a good boy! I really couldn't have asked for a better boy. He is very kind and giving to others. He is starting to be a bit of a pest if you ask his sisters, but in general he is a really good boy. David is a very good brother as well he's helpful with Kash and is sure to say, "Ladie's first" when loading into the car. He still loves anything to do with cars and trains, but his new favorites are boy squinkies and Hungry Hungry Hippo's of course. He is such a joy to have around.

Britannia in Her Baptism Dress

Best Mother's Day Ever!

I asked Jason to take me to Kirtland for Mother's Day to take some final pictures of the kids in front of the temple while they were still dressed up from church. I feel so fortunate to have been able to raise my kids near a church history site. After taking pictures I talked him into doing the the history tour one last time before we left. It was so worth it. The spirit was so strong and a missionary couple that visits our ward regularly was able to take us on our tour. Our kids were asking lots of questions and really enjoyed the tour. I think the older three will remember it a little. It really was a perfect Mother's Day. Even Jason was glad I talked him into doing it in the end. I feel like the luckiest momma ever to be Britannia, Mishayla, David, and Kash's mother!

Mishayla really enjoyed her final dance class with Miss. Lacee and her cute friends from the ward. I'm so glad that she has had an enjoyable dance experience. She is such a cute little dancer. I couldn't believe how grown up she looked in the bright pink costume. They danced to Mamma Mia and sang along with it. She got really into the music and was just so cute to watch. I didn't get very good pictures of her on stage dancing because I was alone so I was also recording.

Our Family

Grandma and Grandpa Hinkins

Grandpa and Grandma Waite

Nancy and Dave Talley are Britannia's primary teachers, our neighbors, and our third set of grandparents. They have been so good to us in our time here in Cleveland. We will really miss them.

Such a sweet picture I had to add it!

Britannia was baptized April 30, 2011. Both sets of grandparents were able to come out to Cleveland for a last visit. Britannia chose to have Grandpa Hinkins baptize her and her dad confirm her. It was a very special day! After being baptized I asked her how she felt and she said, "cold". Later she said that it felt really good because she felt the Holy Ghost. She also felt really nice and comfortable. Her grandma's both gave really nice talks at the baptism. It was so nice to have our close friends there to support us as well. I'm really glad that we decided to do it here in the Mayfield ward before we moved to New York. Our ward has really been our family the past 6 years and we have really grown to love them all so much. Leaving them will be hardest part about leaving. I'm so proud of Britannia for making the choice to be baptized she is such a strong little spirit. She is a wonderful example to me everyday!
