Halloween 2011

I think it's possiple that Kash enjoyed Halloween the most this year. He got incredibly excited over each peice of candy and finished off his loot before the other kids.

Getting ready to go Trick-or Treating! Kash was in love with the pumpkins and kept calling them balls.Kash- Alien Toy fromToy Story

David- Lightning McQueen from Cars

Britannia- Snow Princess

Mishayla- Alice from Alice in Wonderland

Bunny- A Princess!
"We can't forget bunny" Mishayla loves this bunny that she got from the Easter Bunny years ago. She dresses her up for everything and takes practically everywhere. She also leaves her everywhere including the theater when we went to watch Toy Story 3 ironically. But so far we've always been able to find her. She has had more birthday parties than any other toy on this planet!

Kash is 18 Month's

This is sweet Kash on his first official day of nursery as an 18th month old. The pictures pretty much let you know what he thought of it. He went a few weeks prior with me because I am the new nursery leader. Yes, you would think he would be fine since I'm the leader, but that is not the case at all. I think he may do better if I were not the leader. You see he does not like to share me with anyone not even his own siblings. He is the jealous sort ;O) He gets extremly angry and upset if another child so much as touches me let alone if I have need to pick one of them up. The other leader also has a child in there that requires she hold her the entire time so it gets very interesting.
I love, love, love Kash's personality! He shows so much emotion it's incredible to me. He is just a very intense child in every way. He throws incredible tantrums that generally result in injury to himself or to me. However, they are all worth it when he gives me the sweetest hugs and kisses in the world. He can be very mean to his siblings- including, hitting, pushing, smacking with toys, or biting. When I tell him to say sorry. He kisses them and pats them better in such a genuine way that they can't even stay mad at him.
He is also the biggest mess maker. I'm convinced that 10% of our income goes to the waste that he creates all over the house. He is great at crayon and marker murals. He specializes in walls, but has been known to do a little furniture work as well. He loves to dump qtips, toothpicks, silverware, toys, makeup, laundry, crackers, chips, cereal, drinks, contact solution, ect. and spread them all over the house. Sorry, I'm not patient enough to take pictures anymore :) At the same time he is the most eager to help me. He is the best listener and even does things that I ask the other children to do before they can get too it. He is a 1 year old through and through and we love him for it even if it wears on us at times. I try my best to enjoy every minute of it because I know all too well how soon he will grow out of this stage. I savor each snuggly moment with my boy because I know all too well that soon the snuggles will become less and less.

Fairyland

We drove out to the Northern end of the island to this aviary preserve where they were having a special weekend with these fairy houses. They had a path through the woods where they had all these little fairy houses set up with materials from nature. It was very cool and if you know anything about my girls and their passion for fairies then you can imagine how in heaven they were.
There were fun little surprises like this all along the path!

The three amigo's on fairy lookout!

They melt my heart, they are so adorable!

Riding on daddy's shoulders was the highlight for Kash!

My handsome boys!

Girls picture- I sure do adore these beautiful girls!

At the end of the the trail they had baskets full of supplies for the kids to make their own fairy houses. It was such a magical day!
