I Was Feeling Brave

Britannia's school had a fund raising night at Chuck-E-Cheese that she begged and begged me to take her too. I got brave and took all four kids by myself. This may seem like a small thing, but for me it was a big deal. I have been in survival mode for at least a year now. The good news is I still have four kids after this and we ended up having alot of fun together!

The following day I got really brave and took all 4 of them to the outlets, by myself. My mom sent the kids money for Valentine's and they wanted to go shopping. It was such a nice day that we were able to feed the ducks as well. The girls had such a good time! They hit some great sales and really stretched their money. They thought it was so great, they bought scarves, nail polish, stuffed animals, stickers, makeup (lots of makeup), fuzzy notebooks, and pens with "plumes"! They were so excited you would have thought they won the lottery! David was happy buying little toys out of the quarter machines and saved most of money. We had such a wonderful day!

The End!

Britannia Shines!

Britannia got a reward at her school for reaching 200 steps in the 100 book challenge program!
She is also doing a wonderful job in her ballet class

Valentine's

Our Valentine's started on Friday this year with a little party that the kids got invited too at a friends house. They had a pizza party and enjoyed making cupcakes. We then went to Britannia's school and put on her class party. By we I mean me and all 4 kids in tow. We played a fun little Valentine version of Bingo. Jason and I went to a couple's party on Saturday which was a blast! There was lots of yummy food and we played couple's connection. Monday Mishayla had her Valentine party at Miss. Mindy's preschool. The kids and I were alone for dinner so I made pink, heart pancakes. Jason came home later that night and made some romantic appetizers which we sat at the table and enjoyed with Kash who does not go to sleep until we do. Oh yes and Valentine's continued on Tuesday when we had our preschool party. Holidays sure seem to last alot longer lately, but I LOVE it!

Dear Grandpa & Grandma Waite,

Thank you for coming out to visit us,

For taking us to the Natural History Museum,
For making miniature snowmen at night with us,
For playing with us,
Making crafts with us,

And for just snuggling and hanging around the house with us!
We had such a great time! We love you so much and appreciate everything you do.
Thanks again!

Oh, What Do You Do in the Winter Time...

When the world is covered in snow?
Do you learn to climb stairs, so your sister can help you down when you get scared?
Then go right back up again? So do I...
Do you take long winter naps?
or have your mom take pictures of you pretending to take a nap?
So do I...
Do you get into everything?
Yes, everything?
So do I...
Do you pretend to be a walrus,
With giant icicles that you remove from your house?
Or do you play dress up? So do I...
