My dad's side of the family always has a big Chirstmas Eve party. It is my favorite thing aobut Christmas. There is lots of yummy food, we play the white elephant gift game, and of course the kids put on the Christmas play for us. It was so much fun. At the end of the white elephant game my Grandpa got up and started auctioning off the gifts so all the kids could trade what they got for somethin they wanted. It kept going and going we we're all rolling with laughter. Afterwards we went back to my mom and dad's where we all got our new Christmas pj's. The kids wrote their thank you letters to Santa and left them with his milk and cookies. Oh yes, they left plenty of carrots for the reindeer!

Christmas wouldn't be the same without family and friends. Looks like you had all that plus more.
I'm glad to know the kids are learning about the real reason we celebrate Christmas. It makes me smile to hear that the girls play with the Nativity. Good job of being a mommy Bridi
