We bought the girls new kites and they really wanted to try them out so we went to the park, but the wind wouldn't cooperate with us. Jason was very frustrated if you can imagine that! David was not happy at all because he hated his coat and being outside all together. The girls didn't seem to mind as it was one of the first semi-warm days that they could go outside and run around. Jason hooked their kites to fishing poles and they had so much fun just running around with them and using them like streamers.

I have to say that Cleveland does have some great kite weather.
I love kites! I really like your idea about fishing poles, that would make it so much easier. I'd say we'd try it next time, but I don't think Todd even owns a fishing pole, where is Jason's influence when we need it?
