My Boys

These two melt my heart!  They couldn't be more different if they tried.  I keep waiting for them to have similar interests, but so far I haven't had much luck.  My girls are best friends and enjoy doing everything together.  They like to do the same things and play the same things.  So far the only thing my boys are both interested in is watching movies and playing the ipad.  I keep hoping as Kash gets older that the boys will play together the way the girls do.  I'm starting to wonder if I'm waiting for something that may never happen.  David goes to school full day now and doesn't have as much time to just sit and play.  I think one of the hardest lessons that I've learned as a parent is that I can't control them.  They aren't an extension of me, they are their own individual spirits.  They will make their own choices and be their own individuals.  I'm just here to guide them and take care of them.  I sure do love them!
