Me, Jason, and Kash had all developed colds by New Year so we stayed home and had our own little party. We had some yummy food, played games, and the kids colored their own calendars for 2013. Us 3 sicklings retired to bed around 9:00. The older 3 kids settled down on the couches to watch movies. I checked on them at 11:30 and they were all sound asleep. I went and laid back in bed and watched the clock until it turned 12:00. The neighbors could all be heard then as well as some fireworks. The little neighbor kids walked down the side walk beating pots and pans. It was sweet and my little ones slept right through it :)
