Pumpkin Time

We had our traditional family home evening pumpkin carving activity.  The kids are becoming more and more independent with this each year.

David's class had a pumpkin patch where they were able to select a pumpkin out on the front lawn of the school.  They will decorate the pumpkins later at their Halloween party.
Kash was able to choose a pumpkin from the leftovers :)
David- Red Power Ranger, Mishayla- Pillow Feather Bed Lalaloopsy, Britannia- Lagoona Blue Monster High, Kash- Pirate

We had our annual ward trunk or treat.  The kids had a blast!  Some of our friends came along with us who are not members of the church, it was great to have them there.  I was in charge of activities for the primary children this year (I'm now the primary president) my friend that came with us was so great to help out and even brought balloon animals and face painting for the kids.  I won an award for the most creative dessert,  two years in a row now!  I'm glad the kids were able to go trunk or treating because trick or treating may not happen this year if "Frankenstorm" aka Hurricane Sandy ends up being as big as she is projected to be.

I was thinking about you as I was watching the news. I hope you are surviving. My kids still talk about yours.
