David started full day Kindergarten this week. It was really hard to leave him there the first day knowing that my mornings with him are forever over. I'm going through a strange realization of how fast my kids really are growing up right now. I'm down to one kid at home now. Someone mentioned that their little girl was starting the princess phase of life. Then I got to thinking that my girls are pretty much over the princess phase. It made me so sad to think about it. I remember when my girls lived in dress-ups and played with their princess Polly Pockets and Princess Barbie Dolls all day long. On the bright side Kash and I are living it up! We went on "date" to the mall, we ate lunch at ikea and got ice cream afterwards, we washed the car together, we went to the park, and best of all he's taking naps again now that we don't have to run kids to school in the middle of the day. He thinks he is so big now. He calls all the shots! He insists on not walking, but running when we go to the store and refuses to sit in the cart or a stroller. He will hold my hand in the parking lot if I ask him to keep me safe from the cars. He is such a cutie- he calls me "fweet heart" (sweet heart). He is such a little stinker, but he totally has me wrapped around his little finger :)
