Granny Maxine came for a little visit. The kids were thrilled! They really love to have company, and grandparents are the best kind. We took the kids to the park it was so beautiful with all of the leaves turning colors. I do love the falls here I think all of the leaves and trees are what I will miss about this place the most, when the time comes for us to leave. I think that was also grandma's favorite part of the visit. The leaves were at their prime, she chose a perfect time to come, it also warmed up for a few days as well! It was a very nice time all of the kids got used to her and really enjoyed their time with her.

looks like a fun day in the park...we get amazing leaves here when they change, it's incredible...starting to just get yucky here though now!
Yes, it was a nice trip and I did love the colors of the leaves. I brought some RED ones home to remind me that there really is fall somewhere.
I also enjoyed having Tanni sleeping with me, Shayla share her dolls with me and David teasing me so I'd tickle him. Of course, Bridi is the ever gracious hostess with her goodies that welcomed me. I ate it all and both the cookies and chocolate were my favorites. Jason and I had a little time to talk while shopping. All of it made for a good visit.

Aren't grandma's the best? I love it when they can just hop on a plane and come for a visit just because. That's great.
