4th of July

We had great 4th of July. We started it off by going to our ward's pancake breakfast. We went to a park later and had a BBQ with some friends. The kids had a great time being able to run around and play with all of their friends. David and Mishayla enjoyed sharing their lunch with friends while Britannia found a nice mud hole to role around in with hers. I have never let her play in the mud like this. I think she really enjoyed the freedom. When it was time to go she realized what she had done and got a little nervous. She said, "How am I going to get home?" Jason found a man with a trailer that had a hose and he let Jason spay her down. He made her a beautiful garbage bag dress to travel home in as well. We made it home just in time to get Tanni cleaned up a little better before fireworks.

The mud hole will probably best the part Tanni will remember the most. Every kid needs a mud hole to play in. Looks like all of you had a fun day. We had a nice day too.
We love America.

I'm so glad you guys had such a great fourth. I LOVE the mud pictures (though I don't know if I'd be as good of a sport with my kids. Way to go with the garbage bag dress - that picture is a classic, maybe it will resurface when she's dating?

Bridi...found your blog through the Beck's. I had forgotten about that wonderful mud puddle. :) You were TRULY a great sport about it all! I love that we all had to go home, give our kids baths and then go to the fireworks. Silly kiddos. :)
